Currently, and for the past 6 years, Jack has worked as a Community Planning and Economic Director for the Hualapai Nation in Peach Springs Arizona. He is an Arizona Licensed Building Contractor specializing in Green Building with successful expertise in business and the financial analysis for multi- benefit project completion. He has over 15 years involvement in local, Federal and State Government Agencies in Bio-regional, New Urbanism sustainable planning, design and building. Accomplished construction of multi-million dollar positive community development and renewable energy projects. Always practicing what he has taught, having lived the last 10 years in a solar powered, self -sufficient home. His experience includes an extensive involvement in social and environmental justice and educational programs on healthy community development.

Jack is president of A.C.E. Builders, Inc., constructing projects ranging to over one million dollar residential and commercial projects.  Sustainable projects include 5000 sq ft. straw bale, Earthship, adobe, rastra and A.A.C Block

Professional Experience

Planning and Economic Development Director- Brought green building and assisted them in 500 % economic asset improvement. Assisted in government management and relations

•  Sustainable Community Planning Director, Hualapai Tribal Nation, Peach Springs, Arizona. This one million acre Federal site that borders 108 miles of the Grand Canyon is a unique location requiring extensive natural and cultural resource management.

•  Master Planning management of 10 million dollars of community capital projects Development/construction/grant program management, including development & installation R.US.33 Kilowatt solar project. Commercial wind energy project Strategic planning.

·     I.C.D.B.G. and EPA, B.I. A and HUD and other Department of Interior program management of diverse grant funded programs General Government management assistance to and representative to -Tribal Government Council and staff - advisor - US EPA

•  Successfully Managed Development of Green Building measures at State Legislative and local level

•  Intervened at state and local level on altering or mediating environmental and social justice issues

·     Awarded Arizona - Governors Award for Environmental Leadership with team from AZ Dept of Military & Emergency Affairs - Eco Building and U.S.E.P.A. Environmental award

•   Featured in Northern Arizona University - "A New Plateau" Sustaining the lands and people of the Canyon Country

•   Published in "In Business" and I.C.B.O. Technical Building Review . 

•   Featured on "Home and Garden" Network one hour special on environmentally green home building and also on the Fox morning show.
